Description: Sonny is probably the best flash made turn based RPG, i haven't see such game before on the net, it's hard to find one in comparisons. But the gameplay itself is definitely addicting and it's easy to see the effort the developer is putting in to create such amazing flash games. Sonny do have a story going on, it's fairy shallow and definitely not one of the strong point here, but creator uses some interesting narrative to keep it fun and some time funny. The voice acting of this game is pretty good actually and sound professional. As for the gameplay, think of it as Japan RPG, if you ever play a japanese rpg before then Sonny is not going to be hard for you. The battle is turn based, once the bottom middle ring turns blue, it's your turn to make a move. You can click on the enemy to show a list of offensive ability or click on your character to show a list of defensive ability you can choose from. There's your normal attack and magic, magic cost points to use. You can see both green and blue bar at the top, the green bar is your health and the blue one is your magic points. After each battle, you'll get experience and sometime an item dropped by enemies, remember to click the item to move it to your inventory. If you level ups, you can spend the points on skill tech tree to gain a new abilities and use the attribute points to raise your character stats. You also gain money which can be used to buy or sell equipment on items shop. You'll not be fighting alone in combat though, you can have up to 2 NPC helping you in fighting. In most cases, your allies are helpful enough to give you recharge at the right time. With so many weapons and abilities you can use, it keeps the game refresh with the repetitive combat. Sonny is not revolutionary, but it execute smoothly and balance the gameplay very well, little details like the weapon and armor are changes in combat after equipped. Sonny is large in size and takes a while to load, it also require a fast computer to run it smoothly. The wait is definitely worth it and I'm sure you'll be spending a lot of time with sonny.
