Before starting the game, you get to choose the race you like, each races unit are basically the same despite of the character designs. After you chosen your race, you'll be brought to the game maps, the arrow indicates the area you are allowed to invade, each area also tell you the difficulty. The best strategy is to start invading the easy and medium difficulty level first, you earn cash by capturing lands. After defeating one area, you can use your available cash to buy new units or upgrade units abilities. Of course you can choose not to upgrade and keep it until the next victory. The game is easy to play with keyboard arrow keys. To deploy a unit in the battlefield, select the unit you want to deploy at the top left screen by using left and right button, select unit will be highlighted. The battlefield has been separated into number of rows, use up and down button to choose where you want to deploy your unit, try to deploy where the enemies come to prevent them from crossing your border. Each unit passed the border or end of the screen decrease your defense, the same goes for you, kill the enemy soldiers and pass their border to decrease their defense. The meter can be found at the top center screen, once you have pushed enemy meter bar to the end, you win. Units take time to build, the stronger the unit the longer time it needs to build. The game have a second mode for 2 players, challenge your friends to the victory! Warlords Call To Arms is a great strategy games that are not only looking great but also addictive at the same time. It's one great free games you shouldn't miss playing.
