The first 2 games were actually not that good compared to another tower defense games, it feels more like a clone with bloons skin then an actual defense games. But the third one is different, it has it unique gameplay, interesting balloons and cool upgrades. Now for those who haven't played a defense games before, the concept is pretty simply. You build towers, in this case it's monkey towers with the available cash you have. Each towers have its own unique attacks and price, the stronger the tower, the higher the price. But that doesn't mean you should just build all high attack towers, because each towers has its weak points too like slower attack. You need to strategize the tower placement and combined different towers together to cover its weak points. And also take consideration of the types of enemies. You are not just popping a single hit burst balloons this time, as you progress you'll met different types of balloons in different colors. These balloons also has its unique abilities trying to get pass your defense. I don't want to spoiled the fun by telling you all types of bloons you will met, i want you to be surprised and think quickly for a solution to stop them from advancing. Money is earn through popping balloons, and you can use it to build new monkey towers or upgrade your existing towers to a more powerful one. And it also allows you to upgrade in a number of different ways. After you are ready to pop some balloons, just click on the green button in the bottom right screen to start. The game stop for you to strategize after each wave. The new tracks feature in Bloons Tower Defense 3 isn't just track with different design only, but also feature balloons coming from multiple paths. The downside for bloons 3 in my opinion is they are still using the same old graphics featuring cartoony graphics and it doesn't lend itself well to the TD games. And also there is no grid in the map, placing a towers can be annoying as sometimes you have to find a spot to squeeze in a tight groups. Nevertheless, Bloons Tower Defense 3 is a huge improvement on its predecessors and that already make a good news for the bloon fans.
