Description: Dogfight 2: The Great War the sequel of the original game is an arcade style airplane shooter. If you have played most of the flash games made by Rock Solid arcade, you should noticed that the game is a combination of 2 of their great old games, the original Dogfight gameplay and Stunt Pilot graphics. Dogfight 2 was a stunning arcade shooter and that come with a price of long loading time and it requires fast computer to run. The control is really simple that it make it more fun controlling your airplane, right arrow key rotates clockwise and left arrow key rotate in the other way. Press space to fire your primary machine gun & control to drop bombs. Although you can drop bomb on enemies plane, in fact there is a couple of levels required to do so. But remember your bombs are limited, don't waste it if you need them to take out hanger. Dogfight 2 doesn't quite hit the sweet spot of difficulty this time, you have a limited number of lives in the game, and continue points are set every 5 levels. In the game, it is not just about destroying every enemies in sight, different mission have different requirements, sometime you may have no idea what strategy you need until you are deep in enemies territory. And it may cost you lives in order to figure that out. If you cant complete 5 levels in a roll with the limited lives, you will have to start over it again. Therefore I'm not surprise if players give up after a few set backs. On every levels, you get to use the 4 Ace Tactics such as hiding behind the clouds. It was such an odd advantage that doesn't do much with the overwhelming enemies. Some other features Rock Solid Arcade added in includes the ability to pause the game by pressing the button in the bottom right screen and also stop the sounds if you found it annoying. It is nothing special in flash games, but it is a great extra features that many developer left out. Nevertheless, Dogfight 2 was a beautifully made game, flying and shooting in the sky has never been so fun and addicting.
