Toxic 2 resembles Metroid Prime very much, only the starting animation, the gameplay is not the same but environment do looks similar. There is nothing much to mention about the story, cheesy dialogue or just think that the story never exist and enjoy the game play. Toxic 2 plays exactly the same as previous series, but you can see huge improvement over all Nitrome platform game in terms of frame rate, design and action. It is much smoother that bring back the fun of the old classic arcade action games. The control is simple in this game, movement keys plus and space button which you use to drop time bombs. That's not the only weapons you would be using throughout the game, as you progress, you will get the chance to use different weapons to overcome tough situation. The game difficulty is not too difficult as long as you can avoid dropping into the toxic ponds or you would always see the classic animation of Rockman. Your hero is strong enough to take quite some enemy damage, but the most dangerous weapons is still your own. Casually dropping bombs around might cause you life. The bomb of yours explored in 5 seconds and damage a certain area, try not to get caught in the explosion area. Toxic 2 has improved in every aspect of previous game, if you like the first one, there's no reason why you would not like this even more. Play this very fun arcade game using above link.
