Title: Protector 2
Description: The tower defense games fever has started to slow down. You don't see many clones popped out of no where now, gamers do not want to play the same thing over and over again. However, there's a few great gems hidden beneath on the hot period and never get as much attention as it should be. The game I'm talking about is Protector 2, the faithful sequel of the original title. Protector 2 improved in every aspect of the original game with upgraded gameplay and graphics. Graphics of course is not the main focus to judge a game, inevitably it still plays an important role in overall gameplay. Although protector doesn't have a very nice looking graphics or complicated animation, it still provides decent enough style to draw you into the world of protector. At least it doesn't go out of space. The main goal of the game is exactly the same as other, you have to buy unit's to protect you kingdom against monster invade. But there's some unique features added in to keep the game stand out of the crowd. If you every played any tower defense games before, then you shouldn't have problems figuring out how to play. The basic gameplay is the same, you have some available cash at your disposal on your first mission. Use it to buy unit's which you can find it at the bottom of the screen. Roll over each units and you will see more details of it, click and place it on the designated pave. Remember you don't have to spend all money to buy all the unit you can, instead you could choose to upgrade your existing unit by clicking on them. Available upgrades information will be available for you to choose, it will give your unit's better offence power and unique ability against the enemies. Upgrading a unit will also cost you a certain number of gold. It's a very important strategic decisions as it will affect the overall balance over your defence. Some of the unique abilites combined with your attack power would make a huge differences. After you are prepared, click start wave to send the enemies in. Now sit back and watch your brave warrior killing the enemies, but that doesn't mean you could relax. Each destroyed enemy would earn you gold, and you can use it immediately to upgrade or buy a new units on the field. This is important to deal with difficult situation when you let some pass your defense. If you let too much enemies get pass your defense and went through the screen, the game ends! Don't just blindly buy and use up your gold, watch carefully on the current battle situation such as the enemy types, their speed and what they are weak against. Then place the most effective solution to prevent them from marching towards their goal. Protector is played by level meaning that you move to another map when you finished the current one. You won't be playing the same map over and over again. Almost forgot to mention, there's a big boss at the very end of the level and there are tougher to destroy. If you still have a lot of cash, use it up and make sure you don't let it get pass you. Protector is a fun free flash game, it's easy to play and it's also easy to get addicted. It's up to you to choose your own playing stlye and strategy. It's one of the better tower defense games out on the net you shouldn't miss. If you like tower defense games, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed by Protector 2.
