Title: Power Up
Description: When you are as famous as Nitrome who makes tons of quality flash games, some time it's hard to keep your game up to standard. You can't always blame the developer as they have to meet the deadline while producing high quality games. Nitrome new games Power Up meet the graphics standard but fall short on the ideas and gameplay department. It is their first game that I've played so far that actually feel incomplete and sometime frustrating over the control. There's is a big issues over the control and physics engine, a very simple metal box connection from point A and point B could make you want to break the mouse. The object of the game is simple, you have to use the available metal box on the screen and connect them from one power sources to another. Successful connected will brings electric to another robots head. But the bugs over the controls makes it very difficult to accomplish your objective. The physics are overly sensitive and a tiniest collision could send all your metal box bounce off all over the place. Turning the metal direction is not an easy task as well. As usual, Power Up consists of 32 different levels for you to unlock. In later levels, you will find magnetic blocks that hold two block together, honey block that stick on any surface and tesla coils that can pass electric between non-adjacent locations. Just to name a few. I hope Nitrome will update the game and fix all the bugs very soon. If you can overlook that controls issues, what lies ahead is a fun puzzle games.
