Description: Another Nitrome free flash game is here. For fans, you should have noticed the usual beautiful pixel art style by Nitrome. And in Parasite, it doesn't seize to amazed me with its superb graphics and smooth animation. Of course, the gameplay is as fun as well. This game, you'll be playing as a villain, a brain sucker like alien whoes objective is to suck up all the tree's life force on Earth in order to replace them with more profitable mining structures. The control is very simple with just arrow keys to move and jump. In most of the 20 levels, you'll be avoiding dangerous objects by moving and jumping around. There;s also some living creatures in the game, you'll lose lives if you touch them. But if you can jump onto their head, you can drill through their brain and take control of them. Each of the creature have its own unique ability which you need them in order to achieve your goal. You'd think there would be more puzzle involved, but Parasite is more like an action platformer wallows in control challenges. There's nothing much to complain about in terms of graphics, animation or sound. It's impressive for a flash game and I could never imagine other flash games that can match with Nitrome. But in terms of gameplay and level design, there's more room to improve. Although it could be fun at first, but after playing for about 5 levels with the same design over and over again, you starting to get bored. Even though new elements do add in later, it doesn't have enough impact to make it more interesting. Parasite might not be as addicting as other flash games, but it's still a very fun games to play. Hopefully, a sequel will be out soon with more gameplay elements added in.
