Title: Dragon Age Journeys The Deep Roads
Description: The flash based Dragon Age game has finally released to the public. If you haven't heard of Dragon Age or Baldur Gates, it's a soon to be released role playing games for the PC & consoles, and a classic RPG claims to be the best RPG ever made for the PC relatively. Dragon Age is scheduled to be released on 3rd Nov 2009 for the PC and consoles. And it's one of my most anticipated games this year! Although Dragon Age Journeys was supposed to be a promotion games for the soon to be released game, it doesn't feel much like it. Why? Besides the very basic rpg elements such as creating your own character, leveling up your character and turn based combat, it doesn't really play much like Dragon Age. Of course, there's a limitation of what flash based games can do, Dragon Age Journeys: The Deep Roads has done a good job in creating an epic feel to it. But unfortunately, it doesn't have the same Wow factor as Mirror Edge which are also a promotion games. If you haven't tried the Mirror Edge flash game, do yourself a favor and look for the game on our site. It'll blow you off from your seat. Dragon Age Journeys is by no means a bad game at all, it just doesn't live up to the expectation from a well established games company. Especially the animation part, I've seen better and smoother animation from users created flash games. All in all, Dragon Age Journeys is still one of the best flash based rpg games to date, it's epic and details.
You start off the game by creating your own unique character. It amazed me the number of things you can change such as hair style, armor color, face, gender, races & class. After you are done creating your character, you'll be thrown right into cave and start your journey. You control everything by a single mouse, there's a tutorial box guiding and telling what to do. Always follow the objective mark to complete your quest. But you might want to wondering around a bit to fight monster and get extra items. You'll need as much as potion you can get, one advice, never skimp on buying potions. Defeating monster gain you experience and leveling up your character, ever time you gained a level, you'll be given points to upgrade your skills tree by pressing the + mark. You can use it up or save it, it's up to your choice. If you have a slight interest in rpg or turn based role playing games, don't miss this.
