Title: Gretel and Hansel
Description: Gretel and Hansel tell a story of two evil parents plotting to dispose their young children Gretel and Hansel. Gretel's overhears their parents conversation accidentally and came up with a plan to save her and her brother. Gretel and Hansel is a point and click adventure games plays very similar to other escape games. The only difference in this game is you are in charge of Gretel's movement with WASD or arrow keys in third person view. To interact with objects surrounding you, move near it until you see a bubble thought pop-up. Then choose an appropriate item to use from your inventory by clicking the bag at the bottom right screen and drag it out to the bubble thought. Items can be picked up directly by simply moving over them. Be extremely careful when running around, you can actually game over by making the wrong move. Gretel and Hansel is a rather short and simple games. You can find most of the stones you need by walking around, apparently author doesn't put much thought in designing the puzzle aspect. But still Gretel and Hansel is an amazingly beautiful game with its unique hand painted visual. It feels right, dark and creepy and be warned of some gruesome cartoon violent content. Gretel and Hansel is the first installment of a planned three part series, it was originally released back in 2009 and the sequel was just recently released after one year. And it's well worth the long wait as there's much to see and explore. Part two of Gretel and Hansel will be uploaded here shortly after. Hopefully we won't have to wait another year for the last game.
